Bhodi, my 29 Shaman twink on Cho’gall was very close on experience to dinging 30, but, through a bit of creative thinking, I was able to get to Northrend and purchase Professional Master Mining which allowed me to increase my mining level to 375.

Having a number of twinks, and knowing that 3.0.8 fixes the 225/rank 3 mining bug which granted 70 stamina rather than 70 hit points, its time to get from 225 mining to 450 mining.

If you have 225 Mining, to get to 375 mining you can do so with smelting and two zone discoveries/2 lock summons.

There are a few places here where the last few levels of smelting are a bit difficult, so, you could equip the mining gloves and get the last 5 levels of each of the smelting levels where you have to do mining. For example, at 340 you could mine adamantite rather than smelt for the 340-345 which takes a lot of adamantite.

If you have WotLK on your twink account, you can skip smelting beyond 345 and just head right over to Northrend to your cobalt nodes, put on your gloves with the +5 mining enchant and mine from 345 through 420. Remember to remove the gloves at 350.

To get past 375, all smelting is grey and mining is required.

Mine Cobalt (and if you’re lucky Rich Cobalt) from 375-420

Mine Saronite from 421-450. You can mine Saronite from 400 on, but, on our realm it is heavily farmed and there are a few Rich Saronite that appear on the above nodes which require 425 mining. Again, equip the gloves at 420 for the Rich Saronite nodes and unequip the gloves to mine normal Saronite.

On Cho’gall, there are a number of people with enough time to get the free mammoth that love to sit and obstruct the mailboxes. Granted you can zoom in and still use the mailbox, it is a bit of an inconvenience at times. One night Lunchie, Aeiou and Shrizer were sitting on the mailbox and I guess enough GM tickets were filed to summon a Blizzard GM to ask them to leave.

Relief was short lived as all three went back to sitting on the mailbox minutes after the Blizzard GM left.

I guess if you don’t have friends in real life, you have to resort to sitting on mailboxes to get noticed.

Qwaitxten, a new twink shammy and Herbskinner were running through Gnomeregen for drops.

While farming SM Library for qwaitxten, a new twink shammy, I equipped my fist weapons on the first pull to get the scarlet key. When pulling a level 20 through SM Lib, having an axe with a 3.10 swing time just isn’t going to pull a mob off quickly.

However, my dagger/axe set is a little quicker than the fist weapons, but, I figured since I had used the fist weapons through 72-79 (quest rewards), I figured I would get unarmed up to 400 before vendoring them.

10000 kills while I was healing. Our flag dropped down from the enemy gy and while I was healing, the achievement popped up. Unlike the 10000th kill on IbJammin, I didn’t get the name of the player that was credited as my 10000th kill. There were a few notable players in that wsg, but, they weren’t near the gy at the time.

While running through Howling Fjord, I noticed this shoveltusk that was stuck in the cliff. It didn’t evade, but, didn’t move when damaged, so, I figured it would not have been lootable.

Qwaitx and I were doing a Jewelcrafting daily when we came across some turkeys and decided to try for the achievement. It wasn’t difficult, but, there’s a small surprise after you kill the 15th turkey.
