Idtankthat – player on another realm
Written by cd34.

While running some battlegrounds, I ran across a player in an EotS named IdTankThat from Magtheridon!

Blizzard Download – 4.1MB/sec

While I was at the data center, I decided to upgrade World of Warcraft and downloaded at 4.1MB/sec (or roughly 32 megabits per second)

Alliance Gunship

Before Cataclysm, I was invited into a guild run to heal Gunship. Since we had never seen it from the Alliance side, I took two pictures.

Goblin Barbecue

One of the things about being an engineer is that you really get some cool items, but, rarely are they beneficial to more than yourself. In this case, Blizzard added the Goblin Barbecue which is fairly inexpensive to make, and, provides a decent buff if you haven’t gotten any of the raid feasts through your guild.

220172 Armor – what?
Written by cd34.

I logged off prior to Cataclysm and reactivated my account recently. When I logged in, I still had the old Inner Fire buff up which appears to have had problems properly scaling to the new Inner Fire.

Cat for Sale, vendor in Ironforge

One day I was posting some auctions in Ironforge and witnessed a player (or bot) that was walking around and captured some screenshots of what he was saying.

Collection of Gank screenshots

These guys have all demonstrated their ability to kill players 20+ levels below them. The thought of actually killing someone that might be similarly geared scares them, so, they have to attack players that have little chance of killing them.

Most of these weren’t even one-shots… unlucky random number generator? lag? Wasn’t in PvP gear?

I wonder what excuse each would use.

Boethia ganks… barely
Written by cd34.

While leveling a priest on the Alliance side of Cho’gall, I was ganked by many different players. This one was particularly bad since I actually timed how long it took for an 80 Shaman to kill me while I was questing. He actively looked for me after the first kill since I moved to a different area to continue questing as I had little chance of killing someone 40 levels above me.

But, three kills and it took him 38 seconds, 21 seconds and 18 seconds to kill me. The last two, I was bubbled from killing one of the ooze, the first one I kept healing myself – he didn’t do any interrupts or anything.

Hopskip ganks and camps

It is always impressive when someone that is epic geared is able to kill someone that is 40-45 levels below. My guess is that they are PVE geared and can’t PVP, so, they take on targets that they know they can kill.

I believe he was going for the Insane title, but, he actually had to use all of his openers rather than just openly killing me.

Bad player is bad.
